We have some exciting events coming up in the next few months and hope you can join us and other alumni around town for these exciting activities!

Nationally in April, alumni will be performing service projects during the month! Sign up to help us out at Moveable Feast and you will get a free shirt to wear to the event!

Rise Up and Serve Baltimore!

Join other Elon alumni, family and friends in the greater Baltimore area for the fourth year in a row of donating our time and service to the Moveable Feast center!

We will be there to assist in any way possible, specifically packing up the meals for delivery from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Stop by for an hour or more to give back to a great cause and connect with Elon alums in your area! As the weather warms and we head towards summer, we will be partaking in a Cooking Class at Alizee American Bistro on May 16th. Alumni will learn cooking techniques and create different spring and summer selections with Chef Jermaine Brookshire.

The details are:
Thursday, May 16 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $20/each and guest must register by May 6.

And finally on June 1st, we will be embarking on our annual trip to Oriole Park at Camden Yards to see the Orioles take on the Detroit Tigers at 4:05 pm. Tickets are just $17 per person and we hope to see you there in center field rooting on the home team!

National Networking Day is Jan 30th!

Moveable Feast Service Day – Nov 17th

Join us for our semi-annual service event as we go back to Moveable Feast on November 17th! We will packaging and preparing meals to be delivered through out the Baltimore community. We will met on site at 10 am! Join us for a few hours to give back to our community. This time we will be helping with their Thanksgiving meals!

Welcome To The City Crab Feast – Sept 8th!

Help us introduce the Class of 2012 and other alums new to the Baltimore area to our hometown! Meet us at Riverside Park Pavilion from 2-6 p.m. for an afternoon Crab feast full of networking and reminiscing about Elon.

Join Us and See the Orioles Take on the Rays – May 12th!

Join fellow Elon alumni and the Baltimore alumni chapter for a night of baseball Saturday, May 12, at 7:05 p.m. when the Baltimore Orioles host the Tampa Bay Rays at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards truly is The Ballpark That Forever Changed Baseball and is celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season. Tickets are $17 per person.  We will be sitting in the bleachers and cheering on the team!

Visit the BMA with Fellow Alumni!

Coming up on Feb. 11th, we will be having a docent led tour of the Baltimore Museum of Art! The BMA is a great gem of a museum of in Baltimore and is a family friendly atmosphere for alumni of all ages.

The Baltimore Museum of Art is home to an internationally renowned collection of 19th-century, modern, and contemporary art. Founded in 1914 with a single painting, the BMA today has 90,000 works of art—including the largest holding of works by Henri Matisse in the world. Throughout the Museum, visitors will find an outstanding selection of European and American fine and decorative arts, 15th- through 19th-century prints and drawings, contemporary art by established and emerging contemporary artists, and objects from Africa, Asia, the Ancient Americas, and Pacific Islands. Two beautifully landscaped gardens display an array of 20th-century sculpture that is an oasis in the city.

Our Spring Events Schedule

We hope that you can make it out one of our exciting events in the next several months of this warmer than normal winter and into the spring! We have a nice lineup and variety of events for all alumni of all ages.

We kick off the year with our National Networking Day on January 25th and it gets better from there!

March 30 – Duckpin Bowling at Mustang Alley’s
April 21 – Spring Service Day at Moveable Feast at 10 am
May 12 – Orioles Game vs. Rays at 7:05

National Networking Day – Jan 25th

Join alumni in Baltimore for Elon’s first annual National Networking Day! This event is designed to bring together Elon graduates in their hometowns nationwide to tap into their local Elon network, share experiences and enhance professional contacts.

Our event will take place at the Gin Mill from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25. Plan to take advantage of the opportunity to connect with alumni in the area. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available. RSVP online or by calling 877.784.3566.

Next Event, September 22nd Happy Hour

As the alumni network continues to expand in the DC metro area as well as the Baltimore area we have taken your feedback and are introducing our new social networking series called, “In Your Neighborhood”.
